I don't believe New Year is the only time one should make resolutions. There is never a time too early or too late. Over the past few years, through different ups and downs, through your own joy, through the pain you see in your loved ones, through hours spent late at work, through the small efforts made in making others happy and through blinding exhaustion, I have realised some of the simple things that I've taken for granted in life. My body, my peace of mind, the food that is put on my table, and the sleep that comes to me each night, and most important of all the person I am.
And then there are some things that I have given too much importance to. My future, giving the ropes of my happiness to other people, my moodiness, my self-wallowing, pondering over what will be and what won't.
So here's a list of my resolutions for now. I hope to follow them for as long as I can.

So here's a list of my resolutions for now. I hope to follow them for as long as I can.
- I will read for 1 hour each day.
- I will study for 3 hours everyday.
- I will do 1 hour of yoga each day.
- I will eat 4 healthy meals.
- I will sleep for 8 hours everyday.
- I will dedicate one hour to music, painting, sketching, playing games.
- I shall use my happiness, my angst and my gift of perception and channelise it to creativity.
- I shall not 'fence myself in'.
- I will believe my destiny is in store for me.
- I will not change who I am, because the world needs people like me.
This is what my life is about. And this is what I want my life to be.
God will decide the rest and I shall let him.
